|Aesculus hipp. D4 trit (Horse chestnut)
||Major action on the lower bowels, congestion of the portal venous system, slowing down of digestion, with sensation of fullness. Gnawing and aching pain in the stomach, pain like the weight of a stone about 3 hours after eating.
|Alumina D8 trit (Aluminium oxide /Pure clay)
||Dryness of mucous membranes and muscular weakness. Deficiency of gastric juices. Deranged oesophagus and stomach muscle action of stomach and oesophagus with difficulty swallowing. Constipation (even infants) with excessive straining needed due to inactivity of the rectum. Hard, dry knotty stools.
|Argentum nitricum D4 trit (Sliver nitrate)
||Painful flatulence, colicky pain and distention of the abdomen with loud burping. Watery, flatulent, noisy diarrhoea green ‘like chopped spinach’ and containing mucous. Diarrhoea immediately after eating ‘goes straight through’ especially sweets. Nervous stomach and anticipatory diarrhoea, gastritis with ulcerative pain. For gastroenteritis, peptic ulcers and food intolerance.
|Bryonia cretica D4 (White Bryony)
||Acute gastroenteritis and gastric flu like symptoms including fever and aching. Worse: Rising up in the morning. Diarrhoea in the morning after getting up (when moving) with nausea and faintness. Nausea is better when lying still. Stools are yellow, mushy and rotten and old cheese like smelling.
|Colocynthis D4 trit (Bitter cucumber)
||Colicky abdominal pain causing the patient to bend double, pain is relieved by hard pressure, heat application and accompanied by restlessness. Dysenteric, jelly like stools after eating or drinking. Pain in lower abdomen as if intestines squeezed by two stones. For gastroenteritis and spastic colon.
|Nux vomica D4 trit (Poison nut)
||Morning nausea with weight and pain in the stomach, bloated epigastrium like a stone, dyspepsia, effects from overindulging in spices, alcohol, coffee and stimulants, from stress and laxative use. Diarrhoea with urging and cramps. Spastic colon with chronic constipation with frequent, ineffectual urging, and incomplete stools. Spastic colon and food intolerances.
