A.VOGEL EASTER HOLIDAYS COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS 2024

INTRODUCTION

Participation in this competition is governed by the competition rules set out in these terms and conditions (the “Rules”).

Participants are encouraged to read and understand these Rules before entering into this competition. Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these Rules and the participant agrees to abide by same.

Save as otherwise provided for in these Rules, the decision of the Organiser or Promoter, regarding any issue with this competition, will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

This competition is a national competition for South African residents only run by SA Natural Products (“Organiser”).

WHO CAN ENTER?

This competition is limited to all South African residents who are 18 years or older and in possession of a valid identity document or passport, except:

1. Any director, member, partner, employee, its subsidiaries, holding companies, divisions and/or associated companies, including their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE?

For South African participants: In order to be eligible to participate in the "stand a chance to be 1 of 5 to win R1,000!” competition:

• Enter this Competition by sending us a photo of your ‘never leave home without it’ A.Vogel product in your holiday destination, if possible include the local scenery, and submit your entry to either info@sanatural.co.za or through A.Vogel South Africa’s Facebook or Instagram pages via direct message or by tagging us in your pictures @avogelza.
• Entries are limited to 1 (one) per person, per household.
• Participants are responsible for their own costs of connecting to the A.Vogel Facebook page and the Internet. No responsibility is accepted for any problem, including a technical failure, that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted.
• No entries from agents, third parties or organised groups automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.

DESCRIPTION OF PRIZES

Five individual prizes of R1,000

• Prizes are non-transferable.
• The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prizes for an alternative prize of equal or greater value should the prizes promoted not be available due to unforeseen circumstances. All prizes are subject to availability.
• The Promoter reserves the right to name winners publicly. By entering this promotional competition, prize winners agree to the publication of their names and entries (images) by the Promoter.

DISTRIBUTION OF PRIZES

Five individual prizes of R1,000

Winners will be selected based on the quality of their entry. Winners will be contacted by A.Vogel South Africa, where the winner will be required to verify his/her details.

• The winners will be contacted via A.Vogel’s Social Media pages or via email should this be how the entry was submitted.
• All winners will be required to provide their full names, surnames, and contact details and to sign an acknowledgment of receipt of the prize upon delivery.
• The Promoter will make 3 (three) attempts within 2 (two) working days to contact and notify the selected winner.
• Once the winners have been contacted and identified, the winners will be required to provide the Promoter with their banking details and letter from their bank confirming their bank account.
• If the selected winner cannot be contacted personally after 3 (three) attempts, or if after first being contacted by the Promoter, is not reachable, or the winner fails to provide the Promoter with the required information to hand over the prize, or the winner fails to take delivery of the prize for any reason after 2 (two) delivery attempts, the winner will forfeit the prize and a replacement winner will be selected from the names drawn from remaining qualifying participants. This process shall continue until the winner has been contacted and the prize has been awarded in terms of these Rules.
• The Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner if, in their sole discretion, if fraud or cheating is suspected, including without limitation, through otherwise frequently falsifying data, or if it believes that the winner is not eligible to win, has contravened any of these Rules, has acted in a manner that is not in the spirit of the Competition, their conduct can be reasonably interpreted as scamming or circumventing the Rules, or if it would be unlawful to award the prize. In this instance the winner may be disqualified and forfeit the prize.
• The Promoter’s decision shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Date of beginning and end of competition

This competition runs from the 18th of March 2024 and will end on the 1st of April 2024 at midnight. Any entries received after the closing date and time will not be considered.

GENERAL RULES

• Any personal data submitted by a participant will be used solely in accordance with current South African data protection and privacy legislation, the Consumer Protection Act No. 68 of 2008 and the respective privacy policies of the Organiser and Promoter (if any).
• The Promoter and Organiser may contact the participant for marketing purposes, on the basis that the participant will have the election to opt out at each interaction.
• The Organiser reserves the right to terminate this competition at any time with immediate effect. If this is the case, the Organiser will provide a notice on the abovementioned Facebook page. It shall be the responsibility of participants to review such website in this respect. In such event, all participants hereby waive any rights which they may have against the Organiser parties and acknowledge that they will have no recourse or claim of any nature against Organiser parties.
• Any prize is accepted by a winner at his/her own risk and Organiser parties are not liable, at any time, for any defect in the prize.
• A copy of these Rules can be found on the Promotor’s website for the duration of the competition.
